Nizamabad, Feb. 21 -- The All India Students Federation (AISF) Telangana State unit elected its new State Council at the conclusion of its 4th State Congress held here from February 18 to 20.
Announcing the results at a press conference here on Saturday, AISF National Vice-President Ashok Stalin said Kasireddy Manikantha Reddy was elected as the State President and Putta Lakshman as the State Secretary.
The three-day congress, held at Gonereddy Kalyana Mandapam, was attended by about 400 student representatives from 33 districts of Telangana, during which several issues related to education were discussed and resolutions were adopted.
