Srinagar, Feb. 1 -- The Awami Itihaad Party (AIP), led by jailed MP Engineer Rashid, on Sunday said it has submitted a resolution in the J&K Assembly's Budget Session, beginning Monday, seeking citizenship and legal status for women and children who returned from Pakistan and settled in the union Territory under the government's Rehabilitation Policy.

Party leader and MLA Langate Sheikh Khurshid said he has brought a resolution in the Assembly to that effect.
