Mumbai, Feb. 16 -- A fresh political controversy has erupted in Maharashtra after AIMIM leader Waris Pathan on Monday questioned former state minister Abdul Sattar over his visit to a Mahadev temple where a purification ritual was allegedly conducted due to his presence, on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
Reacting strongly to the development, Pathan said attention should not be confined only to those who sprinkled gomutra inside the temple premises but must also focus on Sattar's actions. He said Abdul Sattar should be asked why he chose to visit the temple in the first place.
