Bhubaneswar, July 23 -- AIIMS Bhubaneswar has received three sets of BHISHM Cubes-an innovative mobile medical solution developed under the Aarogya Maitri Project-designed to save lives during disasters.
These modular, portable medical kits are set to revolutionize emergency healthcare by enabling rapid, on-site treatment at disaster zones.
BHISHM, which stands for Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita, and Maitri, is more than just a medical kit-it represents India's commitment to resilience, innovation, and humanitarian assistance. The cubes were developed by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) with technical support from the Ministry of Defence.
