Shimla, Feb. 17 -- The All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA), Himachal Pradesh State Committee, has strongly condemned levying additional charge of Rs 236 on online bus passes to students studying in private schools and women beneficiaries of the 50 per cent concession scheme.
In a statement issued here, AIDWA State President Ranjana Jarrett and State Secretary Falma Chauhan said that when women's bus cards were first introduced, Lok Mitra Kendras charged only Rs 54 per card. In a household with four women, the total cost for cards was Rs 216 earlier.
