Ahmedabad, Feb. 23 -- Aiden Markram praised his side's adaptability and execution after South Africa secured a commanding 76-run victory over India in their ICC Men's T20 World Cup Super Eight clash.

"Great performance. It was a different type of wicket from what we've had here. The boys assessed it early and adapted their plans accordingly. I'm really happy for the bowlers. The start to the tournament was tough, but tonight they were brilliant," Markram said at the post-match presentation.

The South African captain credited the crucial middle-order partnership between Dewald Brevis and David Miller for reviving the innings after early setbacks.
