Guwahati, Jan. 20 -- AICC observer for Assam, Bhupesh Baghel, on Monday launched a scathing attack on Assam Chief Minister saying that the state which used to be known for its tea, rhinos, Bihu dance and diverse cultures is now being known for deceitful, disrespectful and corrupt chief ministers.

The former Chief Minister of Chattisgarh said that unfortunately the state now is now being known for a rude and corrupt Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is allegedly building his empire by taking loans recklessly. "This is a matter of misfortune for the people of Assam," he remarked.
