Dehradun, Jan. 8 -- Uttarakhand Congress on Thursday slammed the BJP and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for questioning the opposition's demand for CBI probe in the Ankita Bhandari murder case in light of a renewed controversy regarding the presence of a VIP at the resort from where she went missing.

Speaking to the media, All India Congress Committee(AICC) general secretary and Uttarakhand incharge Kumari Selja snubbed the BJP and said the ruling party wants the Congress not to raise its voice in the 19-year old young woman Ankita Bhandari's killing as they want to hide the truth and protect their leaders.
