Chennai, March 22 -- The AIADMK, an ally of the NDA, which was allotted two seats, on Sunday announced its candidates for the April 9 Assembly elections in Puducherry.
The AIADMK has been allotted the Ouppalam and Orleanpet seats in the union Territory as part of the seat sharing pact signed by the ruling AINRC headed by Chief Minister N Rangasamy and BJP.
In a statement here, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami said AIADMK State Secretary and former MLA Anbazhagan would contest from Ouppalam and the party former State Deputy Secretary A Gandhi is the candidate for the Orleanpet seat.
