Kolkata, March 2 -- Ahead of the formal launch of the BJP's Paribartan Yatra from South 24 Parganas on Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah said the people of West Bengal were distressed under what he termed the "misrule" of the All India Trinamool Congress and are now seeking change.
In a post in Bengali on X, Shah said the BJP had launched the Paribartan Yatra to strengthen and amplify this public resolve. He added that party workers would carry the pledge of an "infiltration-free Bengal" to every corner of the state.
Shah said he would join party workers at the formal inauguration of the yatra in South 24 Parganas, underscoring that the programme aims to take the BJP's political message directly to the grassroots.
