Chennai, Jan. 7 -- As part of strengthening the NDA in Tamil Nadu, the Vanniyar-OBC dominatedPattali Makkal Katchi (PMK)'s one of the factions led by its President Dr Anbumani, today cementedits alliance with the principal Oppositon AIADMK and finalised the number of seats it would becontesting in the ensuing Assembly elections due in four months.
At a time when the PMK had vertically split following a leadership row between the father and sonduo, the faction led by President Dr Anbumani Ramadoss on Wednesday met AIADMK GeneralSecretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami and confirmed the alliance for theensuing polls.
