Agartala, Jan. 5 -- A 35-year-old tribal woman sustained critical injuries on Sunday night after being struck by a bullet inside her home in Khumulwng of south-east of Agartala.
The victim, identified as Dipali Debbarma (30), has been shifted to Agartala Govt Medical College (AGMC), and doctors stated her condition is out of danger.
The police arrested her elder brother, Suren Debbarma, accusing him of the crime. However, the gun has not yet been recovered.
According to her family, the incident took place while they were sitting together around a fire to keep warm. A bullet suddenly hit Dipali and struck her in the chest.
