Shimla, Jan. 14 -- The ongoing political-administrative row in Himachal Pradesh intensified on Wednesday with the Himachal Pradesh IAS Officers' Association issuing a public statement expressing deep concern over recent remarks made by a serving cabinet minister that allegedly targeted officers on the basis of their regional origin. In its statement, the Association noted that public comments questioning the role or intent of All India Services officers, including those belonging to other states, are inappropriate and risk causing avoidable harm to the morale and neutrality of the civil services.
