Kabul, Nov. 29 -- Yasin Zia, the leader of the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF), took to social media to rebuke the country's former President Ashraf Ghani, who warned that resistance against the Taliban at such a time risks fragmenting the country.

Refuting the former leader, he emphasised that armed resistance against the Taliban's Islamic extremist regime, was a just struggle for national liberation.

Responding to Ghani in a post on X, Zia dismissed the former President's fears that armed conflicts with the Taliban risked division, and instead insisted that "the armed struggle of the Afghan people against the Taliban regime" was a just, and righteous fight for freedom.
