Latur, March 25 -- In a significant breakthrough, the Latur district police has arrested an accused who had been absconding for the past 13 years and was wanted in several serious criminal cases.
The arrest was made in Pune following a sustained search operation, an official said on Wednesday.
The accused, identified as Dayanand Pandurang Dede (36), a resident of Nandurga in Ausa taluka of Latur district, was wanted in multiple offences registered at different police stations.
