Srinagar, April 27 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau on Monday presented a chargesheet against accused public servant Rafiq Ahmad Sheikh, then Computer Operator in PWD (R&B) Circle Ganderbal, in a bribery case.
The chargesheet was filed before the Court of Additional Special Judge, Anti-Corruption, Srinagar in connection with FIR No. 07/2022 registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 at Police Station ACB Srinagar.
According to the ACB, the case was registered on March 2, 2022, following a complaint alleging that the accused demanded Rs 4,000 as a bribe for issuance of a D-Class contractor card.
