Jammu, Feb. 6 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jammu, on Friday arrested an Assistant Sub Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police in a bribery case.
An ACB spokesperson here said that a case has been registered under relevant sections against Mohinder Lal, Assistant Sub Inspector, posted in Police Station Khour, for demanding and accepting illegal gratification from the complainant.
The accused public servant, he said, had demanded the bribe amounting to Rs 5,000 from the complainant, for taking action against his cousin sister's husband, who has been regularly harassing and assaulting her.
