Lucknow, Sept. 5 -- Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) from Gonda district has sent a legal notice to the cabinet minister in Uttar Pradesh government, Om Prakash Rajbhar, after the latter called ABVP workers 'goons'.
ABVP worker Adarsh Tiwari has sent a legal notice to the minister through his lawyer Siddharth Shankar Dubey. The notice demands that Rajbhar apologize publicly within the next 5 days. If this is not done, a defamation case will be filed against him in court.
The matter escalated recently when ABVP workers protested at the minister's residence, during which there was a ruckus and stone pelting. Rajbhar had termed the protesters as goons during that time, which angered the ABVP.
