Shillong, Sept. 27 -- Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Home, Prestone Tynsong on Friday said that about 50 to 60 per cent of the tripartite peace agreement signed between the state and central governments and the two disbanded Garo militant outfits- the A'chik National Volunteers' Council (ANVC) and its splinter group, the ANNVC-B have already been fulfilled.

Tynsong made this statement after chairing a review meeting on the implementation of the Agreed Text for Settlement with leaders of the erstwhile ANVC and ANVC-B in the presence of Chief Secretary Donald Philips Wahlang, State Director General of Police Idashisha Nongrang, Inspector General of Police (Special Branch) Dalton P. Marak and senior government officers.
