Abhishek Banerjee says he is being honored to lead TMC's Parliamentary party in Lok Sabha

Kolkata, Aug. 4 -- All India Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee tonight said he is being honoured to name the party's parliamentary party leader in Lok Sabha.

Party supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee earlier in the day had convened a virtual meeting with party's Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs and announced that Abhishek Banerjee to lead Lok Sabha in place of ailing Sudip Bandyopadhaya.
