New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- The Alliance of All Ex Para-Military Forces Welfare Association (AAPWA) has announced that the organisation will hold a memorial event on February 14 in Delhi to pay homage to the Pulwama Martyrs.
In 2019, 40 CRPF personnel had attained martyrdom on the line of duty in a bomb blast in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, after a suicide bomber rammed his vehicle into a bus, part of a CRPF convoy.
In a release issued by VS Kadam, Treasurer of the Association informed that the memorial event will be held between 10 AM and 4.00 PM at Constitution Club of India, Deputy Speaker Hall.
AAPWA has about 20 lakh members drawn from para military forces such as CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB, CISF, and Assam Rifles.
