New Delhi, Jan. 15 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and Chief Whip Sanjeev Jha has written a strongly-worded letter to Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, alleging biased and unfair treatment of opposition legislators during the recent session held from January 4 to 9.
In the letter, Jha expressed "deep pain and anguish" over being marshalled out of the House on the final day of the session, stating he was barred from proceedings for four of the five days without being allowed to explain his position.
Jha outlined several incidents to support his claim of partiality. He cited the opening day, January 5, when AAP MLA Ajay Dutt was allegedly denied entry into the Assembly hall. A protest by opposition members against this action, Jha wrote, ...
