New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- The Aam Aadmi Party today accused the Delhi government of relocating thousands of truckloads of garbage from the Bhalswa landfill to vacant land in rural parts of the capital.

AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj made the allegation, claiming the action was taken at the behest of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

In a social media post accompanied by a video, Bharadwaj stated that plastic, polythene, and glass-laden waste from the Bhalswa "garbage mountain" is being dumped in villages across Delhi Dehat, a term referring to the city's outer rural areas. He named villages such as Mundka, Karala, Rani Khera, Rasoolpur, Bawana, Kanjhawala, Sultanpur, and Pooth as being affected.
