Chandigarh, Feb. 12 -- The Aam Aadmi Party has leveled serious allegations against the BJP, claiming the launch of 'Operation Lotus 2.0' in Punjab ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.

In a joint presser, AAP spokesperson Baltej Pannu and Sangrur MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj accused Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini of attempting to poach legislators by offering party ticket and fulfilling undisclosed demands.

Bharaj claimed that Chief Minister Saini contacted her directly with a proposal for a "closed-door meeting" to discuss the BJP's future political strategy in Punjab.
