Melbourne, Aug. 16 -- Bollywood star and filmmaker Aamir Khan inaugurated the 16th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025, gracing the occasion with a ceremonial hoisting of the Indian national flag to mark Independence Day.
The actor, who inaugurated the festival amidst thunderous applause, was specially invited on India's Independence Day to grace the occasion. He hoisted the Indian flag at the festival, which was a proud and memorable moment.
