Pune, March 12 -- Airports Authority of India on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Pune Medical Seva and Research Foundation for supporting a major 1,000-bed hospital being developed here to provide advanced and comprehensive healthcare services.
The hospital will be named after Balasaheb Deoras, the third Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
The facility is expected to make a significant mark in the medical field in the coming years, said union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol.
