Una(HP), Feb. 4 -- Una district is moving ahead in the field of natural farming and about 14,240 farmers have adopted natural farming to earn their livelihood. Una ATMA Project Director, Pyaro Devi, said that natural farming is being practiced on 1,907 hectares of land in the district. Out of 48,006 farmers in the district, 14,240 farmers have received training and adopted this method, thereby strengthening their livelihoods.

Interestingly, the Deputy Commissioner of the district Jatin Lal has shown the way to the people by growing variety of vegetables and fruits through natural farming techniques.
