Agra, March 11 -- A tragic accident in Agra claimed the life of a 9-year-old school girl after she fell from a moving school bus and was run over by its wheel on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased student, identified as Naina, was a Class 1 student at RBS School located in Bhagupur. According to family members, Naina had gone to school in the morning with her elder sister Pari, who studies in Class 5 at the same school.
The incident occurred around 3 pm when the school bus was returning students to their home. Allegedly, the bus was in a dilapidated condition and lacked proper seating arrangements. Instead of seats, children were reportedly made to sit on wooden planks placed over the damaged floor of the bus.
