86 members of banned CPI (Maoist) surrender before police in Telangana
Hyderabad, April 5 -- In a significant development, 86 members of the banned CPI (Maoist) party surrendered before S Chandrasekhar Reddy, IGP, Multi-Zone-I, in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Saturday.
Addressing the media, IGP Chandrasekhar Reddy stated that the surrendered individuals belonged to various Maoist formations: Area Committee Members (ACMs) - 4, Party Members - 5, RPC Committee - 8, RPC Militia - 27, RPC DAKMS/KMS - 20, RPC CNM - 13, and RPC GRD - 9.
