Ramgarh (Jharkhand), March 17 -- The second unit of 800 MW capacity of the Patratu Super Thermal Power Project (Phase-I) in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district was successfully synchronised with the grid on Tuesday morning, marking a significant milestone in the project's progress.

Senior officials of Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL), including CEO A K Sehgal, were present on the occasion.

Other officials present included Chief General Manager (Project) Anupam Mukherjee, General Manager (O&M) Manish Kheterpal, General Manager (Project) Bishnu Datta Das, General Manager (Maintenance) O P Solanki, General Manager (Commissioning) Jogesh Chandra Patra and Head of HR Ziaur Rahman.
