Kochi, Jan. 27 -- One of the world's leading forums for the seaweed industry, the 7th India International Seaweed Summit and Expo, will be held at the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) here from January 29.
The two-day event will be inaugurated virtually by union Minister of State for Fisheries George Kurian, while National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) Chief Executive Dr B.K. Behera will preside. Senior officials from the Ministries of Agriculture and Fisheries, along with researchers and industry leaders, will participate in the sessions.
