New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- A special NIA court in Ranchi on Friday sentenced six operatives of the banned terror outfit, the Peoples Liberation Front of India (PLFI), in a 2018 case relating to terror, arms and extortion activities.

The court awarded ten years rigorous imprisonment to the accused Gulab Kumar Yadav, Ravi Yadav, Rakesh Kumar Paswan, Pawan Kumar Yadav, Santosh Yadav and Suresh Yadav.

The court had convicted them in the case last week.

The accused, identified as active members of PLFI, were found involved in militant operations, levy collection, recruitment of cadres, and facilitation of other criminal and terror activities of the organisation.
