Puducherry, April 9 -- Very brisk turn out was reported right from the morning as 55 per cent of voters have cast their ballots till 1.00 PM as the polling to elect the next 30-member Puducherry Territorial Assembly, was progressing smoothly on Thursday.
People braving the searing heat, turned up at all the 1,099 booths to cast their ballots to decide the fate of 294 candidates in the fray.
