Chennai, March 6 -- The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) plans to recruit 50,000 new personnel in the coming years, besides increasing women's percentage in recruitment, CISF Director General Rajwinder Singh Bhatti announced on Thursday.

Addressing the annual press conference here on the eve of CISF's 56th Raising Day to be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, he said efforts are underway to enhance expertise in fields such as Cyber Security and Data Science, Aviation Security, Training, Battle Craft, Weapons and Tactics, Anti-Drone solutions, and fire management etc.
