Hyderabad, Feb. 17 -- The historic third Dhamma Padayatra, undertaken by Buddhist monks from Thailand and India with the message of world welfare and world peace, will reach Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The Padayatra will arrive at the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar near IMAX at around 1300 hours, where Telangana Tourism, Culture and Archaeology Minister Jupally Krishna Rao will formally welcome the monks.

Public representatives, senior IAS and IPS officers and other dignitaries are expected to participate in the programme.
