Lucknow, Oct. 30 -- The Railway Ministry has approved a plan to develop 76 passenger holding areas at various railway stations in the country, a top official said today.

This plan includes three stations of Northern Railway, Lucknow Division, including Charbagh(Lucknow), Ayodhya Dham, and Varanasi.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, Lucknow, Kuldeep Tiwari said the holding areas will effectively manage the heavy rush at stations during Diwali, Chhath, and other special occasions.
