Srinagar, March 23 -- Four people, including three members of a family from Mumbai, lost their lives, and 21 others sustained injuries in a road accident in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Sunday morning, officials said.

The accident occurred near a CRPF camp at Gund when a passenger bus and an Etios vehicle collided head-on, leaving at least two dozen people injured. The Etios car, which was carrying tourists, suffered severe damage, resulting in the death of four occupants, including the driver.

Officials identified the deceased as Hetal Ashish Pari, Nikki Ashish, and Leisha Ashish, all residents of Satya Nagar, Borivali West, Mumbai. The fourth victim was the driver of the vehicle, Faheem Ahmad Badyari of Soiteng, Srinagar.
