New Delhi, March 7 -- A total of 281 officer cadets, including 28 women, were commissioned into the Indian Army during the 28th Passing Out Parade of the Short Service Commission Technical courses at the Officers Training Academy, Gaya today.

The parade marked the successful completion of rigorous military training for 253 cadets of the Short Service Commission Technical Entry (Men), 64th Course and 28 cadets of the Short Service Commission Technical Entry (Women), 35th Course.

The parade was reviewed by Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command, who congratulated the cadets and urged them to uphold the highest traditions of the force.
