New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- The development of next-generation Vande Bharat sleeper trains is being carried out through a comprehensive process that combines technological innovation, strategic planning and advanced manufacturing to ensure safe, reliable and comfortable travel, the government informed the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw said the programme is being implemented in a phased manner, beginning with prototype development, followed by extensive testing and trials before moving into series production.
