Bokaro, Feb. 9 -- A 26-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in Kurra village under the Pindrajora police station area of Bokaro district in Jharkhand on Saturday morning, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Chamtou Kewat, a resident of Kurra village. According to family members, Chamtou had left his house on Friday night and did not return. The family searched for him through the night but could not trace his whereabouts.
Police sources said the body was spotted early in the morning by villagers who noticed Chamtou hanging from a tree with a noose around his neck. The villagers immediately informed the police at Pindrajora police station.
