Bhoranj (HP), Dec. 27 -- : A 23-year-old woman died under suspicious circumstances in Chamboh, Hamirpur district, Himachal Pradesh, under the jurisdiction of Bhoranj police station.
Following her death, her family created a commotion at Hamirpur Medical College. The family alleged that their daughter was being harassed by her in-laws. They have demanded appropriate action from the police.
The woman has been identified as Shivani (Ritu), wife of Virendra, a resident of Chamboh. She had been married for only a year. When her health deteriorated, her family took her to Bhoranj hospital. From there, she was referred to Hamirpur Medical College, where she was declared dead.
