Patna, May 4 -- At least 22 people lost their lives in separate incidents of lightning, storms, road accidents and other mishaps at various places in Bihar today.

According to official reports, five deaths each were reported from Rohtas district and East Champaran district, four each from Aurangabad district and Gaya district, two from Kaimur district, and one each from Saran district and West Champaran district.

In Rohtas district, five people were killed when they were run over by a truck in the Dinara police station area. The deceased were identified as Ashok Singh, Pintu Singh, Rajnish Singh and Ram Vrat Singh, while one victim remains unidentified.
