Hyderabad, July 5 -- Telangana Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari today said that the state must aim high and set its sights on winning medals at the 2036 Olympics, urging the Sports Department to work with renewed energy and a clear sense of purpose.
He said the department's functioning must reflect the vision of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who is committed to making Telangana a leader in sports development.
The Minister chaired a review meeting at the Secretariat with Sports Authority Chairman Shivsena Reddy, where he made it clear that the time had come to leave behind past failures and inefficiencies.
