Chandigarh, Feb. 28 -- A group of 16 football players from Hisar district met with a severe accident on Saturday while travelling to Fatehabad for a sports tournament. The incident occurred near Khabra village when the tyre of their vehicle suddenly punctured, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle subsequently veered off the road and overturned into a roadside field. All the occupants were members of a football academy based in Chuli Bagrian village under the Adampur sector.
According to reports, the athletes were en route to Haripura village to participate in a football tournament when the mishap occurred. Local villagers, who witnessed the crash, rushed to the spot to assist in the rescue operations, pulling the trapped players...
