New Delhi, Feb. 24 -- : A 15-year-old boy allegedly broke his neck during a violent confrontation with three juveniles in west Delhi's Tilak Nagar, an official said on Tuesday.

The matter came to light on Monday evening after an altercation following a cricket match in a local park took place.

"The quarrel started when the victim got into an argument with a 12-year-old participant," police said.

"The dispute escalated into a scuffle. The 12-year-old returned home, called his 17-year-old and 13-year-old cousins, and the three allegedly went looking for the victim," a senior officer said.

At approximately 7:22 pm, the trio approached the teenager in the area. A scuffle followed, leaving him with neck and head injuries and unconscious.
