Kendrapara, March 20 -- The Forest personnel of Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary on Thursday apprehended 13 fishermen on the charges of catching fish unauthorisedly, in the "No Fishing Zone " of Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary.
According to Manas Kumar Das, the ACF in charge of Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary, the Forest personnel intercepted the trawler inside the prohibited area and arrested all 13 fishermen
They have also seized 3 VHF sets, 2 GPS sets, one fish finder, 3 Gill nets along with 60 kgs of miscellaneous marine fish from the possession of arrested fishermen.
