Pune, March 18 -- In a shocking incident from Shirur taluka, the body of a 12-year-old boy was discovered in a sugarcane field at Dahivadi village. The deceased has been identified as Sairaj Manjare, a resident of the Manjarevasti area.
According to reports, Sairaj, a Class 6 student of Ray Kumar Gujar School in Talegaon Dhamdhere, had gone out to play after returning home from school as usual. On March 17, around 5 pm, his semi-nude body was found near a well belonging to a local farmer. Preliminary observations suggest an injury to his head.
