Mumbai, March 27 -- A delegation of 100 young people from five Central Asian countries visited Maharashtra Lok Bhavan as part of the Government of India's cultural and youth exchange programme, on Friday.
The visit has been organized through the 'My Bharat' initiative under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and the Ministry of External Affairs.
The delegation comprises 20 members each from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
As per the directions of Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, the Joint Secretary to the Governor, S. Ramamoorthy, welcomed the youth delegation from Central Asian countries at Lok Bhavan.
