Mumbai, April 7 -- Senior Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena leader Sushma Andhare upped the ante in the godman Ashok Kharat case on Monday wondering when Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde will be questioned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Speaking to media persons here, Sushma Andhare said: "Is the SIT going to take any action against Eknath Shinde? It is expected that the SIT will do a good job, but inevitably we have to criticise the speed of its investigation. The question arises as to why some information reaches social activist Anjali Damania and me, but the same information does not reach the SIT. Evidence can be destroyed during this time.
