Hyderabad, Sept. 29 -- Newly appointed Captain of the Bengaluru Torpedoes, American setter Matt West, is all set to lead the franchise for the upcoming fourth season of the RR Kabel Prime Volleyball League powered by Scapia, set to begin in Hyderabad on 2 October.
Hailing from Seattle, Washington, the soon to be 32-year-old brings over a decade of professional experience across nine countries, with multiple league titles and medals to his name, including stints in the Bundesliga, Holland, Czech Republic and Finland. Volleyball runs deep in his family as his mother represented Peru at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, and his father is also a former player.
